Choosing the Correct 3 Phase Converter for Your Application
To choose the correct TEMCo 3 phase generating Rotary Phase Converter size, you simply need to choose one large enough to supply enough 3 phase power to meet your equipments' needs.  TEMCo 3 Phase Converters run on single phase power and generate 3 phase to power your equipment. Determining the 3 phase starting load of your machine will help you choose the correct type and size of 3 phase converter.  The easiest way to determine starting load is to consider the amount of inertia and belt friction that must be overcome for a machine to run. Also consider immediate resistive loads (like a hydraulic pump or air compressor starting under pressure).  Large heavy parts take more work to get moving.  The following is a sampling of different machines in alphabetical order listing their 3 phase start load.
